Press Release  Port Jervis, NY woman pleads guilty to drug charge

PITTSFIELD — A Port Jervis, New York woman pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to a drug charge.  30 year old DEIDRA M. WALKER appeared before Judge John Agostini.   

 WALKER pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Agostini ordered that she serve a 2 and a half to 3 year state prison sentence at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Framingham.       

 WALKER was in possession of the drug when she was arrested in Pittsfield on March 26, 2017.     

 The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
