PITTSFIELDA Lenox Dale man pleaded guilty this morning in Berkshire Superior Court to several charges.  50 year old BRIAN PUNTIN appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

PUNTIN pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A DISABLED PERSON and two (2) counts of CARETAKER ABUSE ON A DISABLED PERSON.  Judge Agostini accepted the plea and ordered that the charges be continued without a finding for 6 months.       

PUNTIN while employed by the Eagleton School assaulted two students.  The incidents occurred between September 1, 2015 and December 21, 2015.   

The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department and state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
