PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug and firearm charges. 23 year old MATTHEW R. RODRIGUEZ appeared before Judge John Agostini.
RODRIGUEZ had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on three (3) counts of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FEEDING DEVICE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, two (2) counts of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of DRUG VIOLATION WITHIN A DRUG FREE SCHOOL ZONE. Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without the right to bail.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant on Walnut Street in North Adams on October 12, 2017.
