Pittsfield — A Springfield woman was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges. 25 year old MELYZA S. ROJAS (53 Chase Avenue) appeared before Judge Mark Mason.
ROJAS had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS. Judge Mason ordered that she be held at the Hampden County House of Correction, Chicopee Woman’s Facility on $6,500 bail.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant in Williamstown on March 14, 2018.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Williamstown and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
