PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court.  34 year old RANDY J. RUUSUKALLIO appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

RUUSUKALLIO had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A CORRECTIONS OFFICER.  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $2,500 bail.

It is alleged that RUUSUKALLIO, while housed at the jail, assaulted a corrections officer on December 11, 2017. 

The investigation was conducted by members of the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office.
