PITTSFIELD — Sanchez enters not guilty pleas on conspiracy and trafficking charges

A Holyoke man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  23 year old CARLOS SANCHEZ-RIOS (97 High Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.

SANCHEZ-RIOS had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN HEROIN and two (2) counts of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS.  Judge Ford released him on $10,000 bail.

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in Lee on February 18, 2018.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
