Press Release  Sayers enters not guilty pleas on drug charges

PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  20 year old SHAINA J. SAYERS (35 Crestview Drive) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

SAYERS had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN HEROIN, one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS.  Judge Agostini released her on $2,000 bail.  

The charges stem from an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity in Pittsfield and allegedly occurred on May 16, 2018.    

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
