Press Release  Sayers is released on bail on drug charges

PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  31 year old SHAINA J. SAYERS (34 South John Street) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

SAYERS had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and two (2) counts of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.   Judge Agostini released her on $2,000 bail.         

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at her home on August 1, 2018.      

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
