PITTSFIELD — A North Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on a drug charge.  28 year old ROBERT ALLEN SCUTT, JR. (273 Beaver Street) appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.

SCUTT had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE.  Judge Ford released him on $1,000 bail.            

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant in Lanesborough on February 15, 2018.     

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams and Dalton Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
