PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges. 32 year old DANTE J. SPRATLING appeared before Judge John Agostini.
SPRATLING pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A CLASS C SUBSTANCE. Judge Agostini ordered that he serve a 2 and a half year sentence at the Berkshire County House of Correction on the charge of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE. SPRATLING was given a 6 month house of correction sentence, to be served on and after the first sentence, on the other charge.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at a Daniels Avenue apartment on August 9, 2016.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
