Press Release  Sprowson arraigned on drug charges

PITTSFIELD — A North Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges.  22 year old JONATHAN R. SPROWSON (100 North Street) appeared before Judge Maureen Hogan. 

SPROWSON had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and two (2) counts of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS.  Judge Hogan ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $1,000 bail.          

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on March 13, 2018.                   

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
