Pittsfield — District Attorney Andrea Harrington will welcome Massachusetts State Auditor Suzanne M. Bump to the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office on Friday for a discussion about the recent transition audit of the office. The audit, which was issued last week, provided the District Attorney with recommendations to improve the office’s practices related to forfeited funds and its internal control plan.

WHAT: After a brief private discussion, the District Attorney will give the State Auditor a tour of the office and changes the DA has implemented in response to the State Auditor’s recent recommendations. Reporters are invited to join the tour and ask questions during a media availability session that will be held in the office library.
