Boston, MAThe State Ethics Commission has issued a Decision and Order allowing a motion to dismiss the adjudicatory proceeding against former Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission Cape & Islands/Plymouth Area Director David A. Rose due to his recent death.

The Enforcement Division of the State Ethics Commission filed an Order to Show Cause in early May alleging that Mr. Rose violated the Financial Disclosure Law by failing to file a Statement of Financial Interests for 2021. Mr. Rose passed away later that month. There was no adjudication of whether Mr. Rose violated the law as alleged. With the issuance of the Decision and Order, the matter is now concluded.
