In recognition of National Judicial Outreach Week, an initiative of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts judges will participate in public outreach activities throughout the month of March. Last year, over 150 judges participated in the public outreach initiative.

This year, judges from the Superior, District, Housing, Boston Municipal, Probate and Family, Land and Juvenile Courts, and justices from the Supreme Judicial Court and Appeals Court, will visit local high schools, colleges and technical schools, chambers of commerce, senior citizens' organizations, Boys and Girls clubs, and public libraries statewide to educate the public about different aspects of the judicial branch, including what the Rule of Law means, how the American legal system works, and the work that judges do in courts every day.
