PITTSFIELD A Springfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug charges.  19 year old ERIK D. TORRES (350 Liberty Street) appeared before Judge Maureen Hogan.

TORRES had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of TRAFFICKING IN COCAINE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS.  Judge Hogan ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $5,000 bail.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant in Williamstown on March 14, 2018.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Williamstown and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
