PITTSFIELD — A North Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on drug and gun charges. 29 year old NOEL TORRES (31 Pebble Street) appeared before Judge Mark Mason.
TORRES had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense), one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM (2nd offense), one (1) count of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY WEAPON, two (2) counts of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A LARGE CAPACITY FIREARM, two (2) counts of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FEEDING DEVICE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD and one (1) count of ARMED CAREER FELON. Judge Mason released him on $2,500 bail.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his home on February 1, 2018.
The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams and Pittsfield Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
