PITTSFIELD — A Greenfield man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on sexual assault charges. 34 year old RONALD L. VACHON appeared before Judge John Agostini.

VACHON had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on two (2) counts of RAPE AND ABUSE OF A CHILD AGGRAVATED BY AN AGE DIFFERENCE, four (4) counts of INDECENT ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A CHILD UNDER 14 and one (1) count of DISSEMINATING HARMFUL MATTER TO A MINOR. Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $10,000 bail.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred in Florida between September 13, 2015 and December 22, 2015 and involved a girl who was 13 years of age at the time.

The investigation was conducted by State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
