PITTSFIELDA Hudson, New York man was found guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. The jury deliberated for about 3 hours before returning its verdict against 39 year old SAM C. WASSILIE.

WASSILIE was found guilty on ten (10) counts of VIDEOTAPING PERSONS NUDE OR PARTIALLY NUDE and five (5) counts of VIDEOTAPING SEXUAL PARTS OF CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18. Judge John Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction without the right to bail pending sentencing which will occur at a later date.

The jury found that WASSILIE installed a video recording device in a public restroom at Pinegrove Park in Dalton. The incidents occurred between September 14, 2014 and October 26, 2014.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Dalton Police Department.
