Cape and Islands — Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced today that William Hayes (dob:12-9-80) of Falmouth was arraigned in Barnstable District Court on one count of Murder and one count of Assault and Battery Dangerous Weapon, in connection with the shooting death of Darrell Russ (d.o.b. 9-6-86) in Hyannis on October 16, 2019.
The Honorable John Julian ordered Hayes held without bail. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for 1-8-20.
