Press Release  Williamson enters not guilty plea on drug charge

PITTSFIELD — A North Adams man was arraigned this morning in Berkshire Superior Court on a drug charge.  30 year old MARQUIS L. WILLIAMSON appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

WILLIAMSON had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2^nd offense).  Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $1,000 bail.       

The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop in North Adams on November 30, 2017 

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams Police Department.
