Press Release  Yeaman has case continued for one year

PittsfieldA Lee man appeared in Berkshire Superior Court this morning on several charges.   64 year old JAMES R. YEAMAN appeared before Judge Mark Mason. 

YEAMAN admitted the facts of his case were sufficient to find him guilty on the following charges: one (1) count of ACCESSORY AFTER THE FACT, TO WIT: ASSAULT AND BATTERY ON A DISABLED PERSON and two (2) counts of INTIMIDATION OF A WITNESS OR OTHER PERSON.  Judge Mason continued the charges against YEAMAN for one year without a finding, ordered him to perform 20 hours of community service work and pay $500 in court costs.       

The incidents occurred while YEAMAN was employed by the Eagleton School and occurred between June 26, 2013 and December 31, 2015.   

The investigation was conducted by members of the Great Barrington Police Department and state police detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
