Press Release  Yulanda Chadwell charged with misleading a police officer

PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court.  37 year old YULANDA J. CHADWELL a/k/a YOLANDA CHADWELL (16 Glenwood Avenue) appeared before Judge John Agostini. 

CHADWELL had a not guilty plea entered on her behalf on one (1) count of MISLEADING A POLICE OFFICER.  Judge Agostini released her on $2,000 bail. 

It is alleged that CHADWELL provided police with misinformation during their investigation into the death of 39 year old Paul Henry, of Pittsfield, who was murdered on July 4, 2017.  The incident is alleged to have occurred on September 4, 2017.        

The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department Detective Bureau with assistance from the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department, State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force and the Massachusetts State Police Firearms Identification Section.
