Board member vacancies and other opportunities at the Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners
The Board of Bar Examiners is comprised of five attorneys appointed to consider issues relating to the qualifications and acquirements of persons seeking admission to the Massachusetts bar. Board members are appointed by the Justice of the Supreme Judicial Court for five-year terms, with at least four Board members residing in different Massachusetts counties, as provided by Mass. G.L. c. 221, §§35 and 36.
When available, vacancies on the Board are published by and filled by the Supreme Judicial Court.
