Who we serve

The Appeals Court Clerk's Office maintains the court’s case docket, case files, and the oral arguments calendar. The Clerk’s Office can also answer questions about Appeals Court practice and procedure.  Please check out the Appeals Court Help Center to access various materials and guides. This information is provided as a public service to assist lawyers and those who decide to represent themselves in their appeals.  

If you cannot find the answers you need here, or in the Massachusetts Rules of Appellate Procedure, please feel free to call the Clerk's Office during office hours at 617-921-4443. Please note, however, that the Clerk's Office staff does not offer legal advice and the assistance provided at the counter, on the phone, or through the online Help Center is not a substitute for legal advice.
