About the Appeals Court Clerk's Office
The Appeals Court Clerk's Office maintains the court’s case docket, case files, and the oral arguments calendar. The Clerk’s Office can also answer questions about Appeals Court practice and procedure. Please check out the Appeals Court Help Center to access various materials and guides. This information is provided as a public service to assist lawyers and those who decide to represent themselves in their appeals.
If you cannot find the answers you need here, or in the Massachusetts Rules of Appellate Procedure, please feel free to call the Clerk's Office during office hours at 617-921-4443. Please note the staff and Assistant Clerks at the Appeals Court Clerk’s Office are available to answer some of your procedural questions, but they do not provide legal advice. You are responsible for doing your own legal research and for finding answers to your legal questions.
