Appeals Court Help Center

Resources for lawyers and self-represented litigants who have business before the Appeals Court.

The Appeals Court Help Center contains a collection of guides, informational pages, and other resources providing information about how the appeals process works. Although this page is designed to assist lawyers and self-represented litigants with common procedural questions, it does not substitute for a careful review of all existing statutes, court rules, and relevant case law. Please note the staff and Assistant Clerks at the Appeals Court Clerk’s Office are available to answer some of your procedural questions, but they do not provide legal advice. You are responsible for doing your own legal research and for finding answers to your legal questions. Each resource can be found in a box below this text. If you do not find the resource you are looking for, check the "Additional Resources" section at the bottom of this page.
