Commission on Methamphetamine Use

The Commission on Methamphetamine Use was established in July 2021 with Governor Baker’s signing into law of Section 131 of Chapter 24 of the Acts of 2021 (FY22 Budget).

The Commission is chaired by the Secretary of Health and Human Services and is comprised of a diverse panel of policymakers, public health professionals, and clinicians appointed by the Governor, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and medical, law enforcement, and first responder agencies. Commission members are charged with developing recommendations regarding methamphetamine and other stimulant use in the Commonwealth.
