Trial Court Facilities Management & Capital Planning Department
In April, 2017, the Office of Court Management combined Facilities Management and Court Capital Projects into a single department called Facilities Management & Capital Planning. Facilities Management is charged with the maintenance and ongoing upkeep of 63 state-owned courthouses. Capital Planning represents the judicial system as the user agency in projects involving the construction and renovation of courthouses.
The Facilities Management and Capital Planning Department is committed to maintaining a safe and dignified environment for court operations, and doing so in a manner which adopts best practices and inspires public confidence; and to provide access to justice, through the capital improvement of life safety, security and structural integrity of court facilities that are owned by the Commonwealth.
