About Facilities Management & Capital Planning
In April 2017, Facilities Management and Court Capital Projects were combined into a single department called Facilities Management & Capital Planning. Facilities Management is charged with the maintenance and ongoing upkeep of 63 state-owned courthouses. Capital Planning represents the judicial system as the user agency in projects that involve constructing and renovating courthouses. The Facilities Management and Capital Planning Department is committed to:
- Maintaining a safe and dignified environment for court operations in a way that adopts best practices and inspires public confidence
- Providing access to justice through the capital improvement of life safety, security, and structural integrity of state-owned court facilities
