Upon completing his service, Christian returned home and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Westfield State University, receiving his B.A. in Political Science with concentrations in Public Administration and Administrative Law.

For the next decade, he worked as a case manager and Regional Director for Veterans Inc., assisting veterans in receiving their entitled benefits and services. Christian's community service has been recognized as a member of several boards and commissions, where he is currently on the Board of Directors for MassHire (Springfield) and Veterans Outreach into Community Engagement (VOICE).

Christian brings his experience and extensive knowledge of service delivery systems covering veteran housing, employment, legal aid, suicide prevention, community outreach, and food assistance programs. As Regional Liaison for Western Massachusetts, he serves as a critical bridge between the OVA and all veteran-serving organizations to ensure the area's veteran community receives all available support, services, care, and benefits.
