Clifford Coy

Regional Liaison - Northeast

Cliff Coy joined the Office of the Veteran Advocate as the Northeast Regional Liaison in January of 2025.

Cliff served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army, with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Oman, Jordan, and Egypt. After completing his military service, Cliff worked as a wilderness educator with the North Carolina Outward Bound schools. While at Outward Bound, he serves roles as an instructor, trainer, and course director, assisting with managing the Veterans Wilderness, youth-at-risk, and open enrollment programs. In 2020, Cliff moved to Boston and went to work with the Department of Veteran Affairs as the Outreach Specialist at the Boston Vet Center. 

Cliff holds a B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Creighton University, where he was also commissioned through the Creighton University Army ROTC program.  He is currently pursuing another Bachelor's in Cyber Security with Sans Institute of Technology.

The OVA works collaboratively with its partners, providing policy recommendations and investigative oversight.
