Elliott Pawlak

Program Analyst

Elliott Pawlak joined the OVA as the agency’s Program Analyst in November 2024.

Elliott enlisted in the Massachusetts Army National Guard in 2019 through the Simultaneous Membership Program and was commissioned as an active-duty Field Artillery Officer in 2020. He served for three years, stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and completed a deployment to the Republic of Korea in 2022. After transitioning out of the U.S. Army in 2023, Elliott has dedicated his career to serving the veteran community, working for the City of Boston's Office of Veterans’ Services from 2023 to 2024.

Elliott holds a M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts (Boston), a B.A. in Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Massachusetts (Dartmouth), and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst).

    The Office of the Veteran Advocate is an independent state agency tasked with ensuring veterans under the care of the Commonwealth receive dignified treatment and access to all available benefits and services. The OVA works collaboratively with its partners, providing policy recommendations and investigative oversight.
