James Latini

Chief Engineer

James Latini joined the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) as Chief Engineer in 2018 with over 30 years of experience in facilities, design and construction, energy, and maintenance. Since joining DCAMM, Jim has been awarded the Leadership by Example Award from DOER for outstanding energy and sustainability achievements, and he received the Governor’s Citation for Outstanding Performance Award twice for services during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.

Prior to joining DCAMM, Jim’s prior positions include Director of Facilities for Providence Public Schools, Service Manager for West Mechanical, President of Jenco Mechanical, and Facility Engineer at Massachusetts Hospital School. At the start of Jim’s career, he spent 10 years as a continuing education instructor at Blue Hills Regional Technical School teaching basic and advanced HVAC, as well as facility system equipment training to facility and project managers.
