Scott McDermott

Scott McDermott has been the Town Moderator in Medfield for 17 years. He is deeply involved in the civic affairs of the town and orchestrates Medfield's open town meetings.  Professionally, Scott serves as a strategic business adviser, capital investment partner, and business school professor. He is President of the Center for Business Excellence LLC (a consulting platform doing business under the brand weoutperform™) and Managing Director of New Harbour Partners LLC (a Wellesley-based capital investment partnership). Additionally, Scott has enjoyed an association with the Carroll School of Management at Boston College since 1984 as a professor, lecturer, and program director: Over his career, he has taught courses in consulting practice, high performing teams, business solutions, simulated business learning, and business law. Through 2000, Scott was a practicing corporate attorney and continues as a member of the Massachusetts Bar. He is graduate of Boston College Law School and Colby College.
