Scott Pitta

Executive Chief of Staff

Scott Pitta is former US Army Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot with combat service in Iraq from late 2003 until early 2005. After his time in the Army, he worked as a helicopter pilot for various federal government contractors and as an emergency medical helicopter captain.

When his service-connected injuries prevented him continuing his career as a pilot, Scott earned a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2020 as a distinguished graduate of the Trial and Appellate Advocacy program. Prior to joining the OVA team, Scott served the veteran community as a pro-bono legal aid attorney representing economically disadvantaged veterans across a wide variety of civil and administrative legal cases.
