Who we serve:
The MassHire Department of Career Services Rapid Response team assists companies and workers through the painful transitions associated with job loss. Our services are designed to be flexible and proactive. They are federally mandated by the United States Department of Labor and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
Businesses that are eligible for these services include:
• Businesses facing a downturn in sales and looking for alternatives to layoffs
• Businesses that need to lay off staff and are seeking to make the transition as smooth as possible for the company, affected workers, and the community as a whole
• Businesses that are growing quickly and looking to hire skilled workers from companies that are downsizing
