Annual reporting requirements for human embryonic stem cell research

Institutions holding a Certificate of Registration to conduct human embryonic stem cell research must submit an annual report to the Department of Public Health.

Requirement

In accordance with M.G.L. c. 111L, §10(i), an institution holding a Certificate of Registration to conduct human embryonic stem cell research must submit an annual report to the Department of Public Health.

Due date

Annual Reports are due on January 31st immediately following the reporting period.

Reporting period

An institution's annual report should cover the period from January 1st of the reporting year, or from the date of issuance of the first certificate of registration (if issued after January 1st) through December 31st of the reporting year.

Report content

Annual reports should provide a summary of the research approved to the extent required by M.G.L. c. 111L, § 3(b). The report should also include a statement representing that said research was reviewed in accordance with M.G.L. c. 111L, if applicable.
