RESULTS OF THE COUNCIL'S CONSUMER SURVEY
In 2008 the PCA Workforce Council contracted with JSI Research & Training Institute, an internationally known public health research and consulting firm, to conduct a comprehensive survey of Massachusetts PCA consumers. A sample of 500 consumers were contacted by telephone and responded to a questionnaire of about 80 questions. In addition, JSI staff conducted several focus groups an in depth interviews with consumers, advocates and state officials knowledgeable about the program. This survey provided critical information for the Council's Performance Review Report filed in December, 2008.
