MCPPO schedule and classes

The OIG offers 20 MCPPO classes. In addition to teaching participants about procurement, contracting and ethics laws, the program provides practical recommendations to assist public officials in implementing best practices in their own jurisdictions.

-Superintendents, school business officials and staff
-Public works directors and staff
-Housing authority officials
-Architects and engineers performing public work
-Auditors
-Department heads, contracting officers and staff

Current class schedule

In response to Governor Baker’s executive order and because of our commitment to public health and safety, we will not be holding in-person classes through June 30, 2020. We are working to transition our classes to online and/or virtual platforms beginning in late March.

If you are currently enrolled in an MCPPO class, you will receive an email with the new date(s) for the class as well as login information for the online class. If you want to register for an online class, review the schedule below. If you prefer, you may request a refund by emailing ma-igo-training@mass.gov.

If you need to renew your MCPPO designation or MSBA-related certificate, but are unable to take the required classes or earn continuing education credits, we will grant you an application extension or allow you take future classes without penalty.  Please notify us at ma-igo-training@mass.gov  if you require this accommodation.

Since the current situation is fluid and could therefore change, we will keep you updated about any schedule changes. We are committed to fulfilling our mission to provide high quality education related to detecting and preventing fraud, waste and abuse. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this together.

Please see the MCPPO Program Class Cancellation and Attendance Policy before registering.

Please see the MCPPO Online Class Technical Specifications before registering.
