MCPPO schedule and classes

The MCPPO schedule has been updated in light of COVID-19. All classes are online. We teach about procurement, contracting and ethics laws and practical recommendations to assist public officials in implementing best practices in their own jurisdictions.

In response to Governor Baker’s executive order declaring a state of emergency and because of our commitment to public health and safety, we will not be holding in-person classes through December 31, 2020. We continue to convert our classes to an online Blackboard® learning management system platform. Our summer schedule is available now but, please do not register until July 1, 2020. Your registration and payment will be returned to you if you register before July 1st. The fall schedule will be issued soon.

If you need to renew your MCPPO designation or MSBA-related certificate, but have been unable to take the required classes or earn continuing education credits because of the state of emergency, don’t worry. We have extended all deadlines until October 31, 2020. If you need an additional extension or have other concerns please notify us at MA-IGO-Training@mass.gov if you require this accommodation.

Since the current situation could change, we will keep you updated about any schedule changes. We are committed to fulfilling our mission to provide high-quality education related to detecting and preventing fraud, waste and abuse. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this together.
