Overview
Over the last decade, the need to better manage the multiple uses of the ocean has become more apparent with the development of offshore wind and documentation of impacts associated with invasive species and warming waters. We assist with planning efforts aimed at minimizing impact to vulnerable natural resources and supporting responsible fishing activities throughout the planning areas.
DMF is a member of the Northeast Regional Ocean Council (NROC), the Northeast Regional Planning Body (NERPB), and the Massachusetts Ocean Advisory Commission (OAC).
