Operation Money Wise

This program supports Massachusetts non-profit organizations, public agencies, and higher education institutions that promote financial literacy and empowerment to members of the Military, Veteran, Family and Survivor Community (MVFSC) across the state.

Operation Money Wise awards aim to increase the scope of financial education for military personnel and their families and provide them with the tools they need to achieve financial stability. These grants allow non-profit organizations, public agencies, and higher education institutions to use their knowledge and expertise to design programs that would best serve their community. Many of these workshops will include strategy sessions on basic budgeting, managing debt, preparing for retirement and monetary decision-making.  Operation Money Wise is funded entirely through a Division of Banks settlement over alleged unlawful lending practices.
