The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security and the Executive Office of Technology Services and Security have established standards for Public Safety Grade Wireless Data Services in Massachusetts. The Commonwealth has also established a new statewide contract (ITT72) with a dedicated category for purchasing public safety grade services. Massachusetts departments, agencies, and other organizations who provide public safety or first responder services can use the new ITTS72 Statewide Contract to purchase wireless data services and devices.
