If you are a driller not previously certified in Massachusetts, please contact the DWP Program Director at [e-mail] or [phone].  Well Driller Certification applications must be submitted online via the MassDEP online filing system, eDEP.  Drinking Water Program staff will provide guidance on applying in eDEP.

Well Driller Reciprocity Questionnaire - Individuals applying for initial MA Well Driller Certification should submit this form to the well driller licensing agency in the state that they are licensed if they are using their license to apply via reciprocity. Note that Section A must be completed by the applicant prior to submitting the form to the licensing agency.

Recertification

Renewal letters for well driller re-certification are sent to MassDEP registered drillers near the end of October each year. The completed form and fee for renewal and rig renewal (if any) need to be received by the end of the calendar year. Registrations run from January to December.  Recertification applications must be submitted online via the MassDEP online filing system, eDEP.   Please follow the instructions linked below, or contact the DWP Program Director at [e-mail] or [phone].
