Unfair Labor Practices (Private Sector)

If you are a private sector employer, union, or a person represented by a union, you might be eligible to file an unfair labor practice charge with us.

We are responsible for promoting stable, productive and cooperative relationships between certain employers and their represented employees by administering and enforcing M.G.L. c. 150A (Chapter 150A). If you are a private sector employer, union, or a person represented by a union, and believe your collective bargaining rights have been violated, you might be eligible to file an unfair labor practice charge with us. Section 2 of Chapter 150A describes who is protected by the statute. Sections 4 - 4C of Chapter 150A describe the various types of unfair labor practice charges that we enforce.
