What: The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will delay the opening of the beach at Lake Wyola State Park until water levels can recover from ongoing repairs by the Town of Shutesbury to the lake’s dam. The park will remain open to the public during this time. A designated swimming area will be established, and lifeguard staffing will be active after water levels return to normal.
