What: Beginning on Monday, August 10, 2026, and continuing through Wednesday, September 23, 2027, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will close Lynn Veterans Memorial Park and parking lot in the City of Lynn to accommodate a park reconstruction and improvement project. The pedestrian bridge to north side of the Lynnway will remain open until August 13, 2026, after which it will be closed for construction. The project will also include park and boardwalk reconstruction including regrading of the park and construction of new paths, plantings, lighting, park furnishings, a splashpad and parking lot improvements.
