What: Beginning on Saturday, September 12, 2026, and continuing through Sunday, October 26, 2026, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will prohibit the launch of hang-gliders and paragliders from the summit of Mount Greylock State Reservation in the Town of Adams on weekends and holidays to ensure the safety of all park visitors, during peak fall foliage. These activities will still be permitted on weekdays.
Hang gliding and paragliding will be prohibited on the following dates:
- September 12 - 13
- September 19 - 20
- September 26 - 27
- October 3 - 4
- October 10 –12
- October 24 - 25
