What: On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will implement multiple lane closures at the intersection of Centre Street and Walter Street in the City of Boston from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to accommodate road maintenance. Lane restrictions will again be implemented at the intersection beginning Thursday, October 1, 2026, and continuing through Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to accommodate further road maintenance. Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and a police detail will be on site.
