Fisher House Foundation  

Fisher House Foundation

The Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. The Foundation also operates the Hero Miles program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members & the Hotels for Heroes program. Foreign Medical Program (FMP)

For eligible Veterans living or traveling abroad, the VA offers medical services through the Foreign Medical Program (FMP). FMP will pay for health care services, medications, & durable medical equipment for service-connected conditions & conditions associated with and held to be aggravating a service-connected condition. Fry Scholarships

The Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship is for children & spouses of certain Veterans. Children & spouses may qualify if: - a parent/spouse died in the line of duty on or after 9/11/2001 while serving in the Armed Forces; - he/she was a member of the Selected Reserve who died from a service-connected disability. Gulf War Registry Health Exam for Veterans
