Community Ambassadors

The Community Ambassadors program, led by the Office of Economic Empowerment (OEE), empowers local leaders across Massachusetts to promote financial education and economic mobility.

What is a Community Ambassador?

Community Ambassadors are volunteers who help spread the word about financial empowerment initiatives, host workshops, and conduct community assessments to help inform OEE program and policy priorities.

For Individuals & Families

  • Attend free financial education workshops
  • Get one-on-one guidance on BabySteps enrollment, Enrich, financial coaching, and the Small Business Resource Toolkit
  • Access multilingual workshops, resources, and online financial wellness tools

For Community Organizations 

  • Partner with an Ambassador to offer tailored financial education workshops and outreach
  • Receive multilingual support and promotional materials
  • Enhance community impact by connecting residents to OEE’s financial wellness and wealth-building programs
  • Strengthen relationships withlocal officials, banking partners, and community leaders to support economic mobility
