DIA Office of Investigations

The DIA Office of Investigations makes sure that all employers operating in the Commonwealth carry workers' compensation insurance at all times.

All employers in Massachusetts must have workers' compensation insurance to cover their employees. The Office of Investigations monitors businesses and organizations across the Commonwealth to guarantee that employers in Massachusetts have workers' compensation insurance. The investigative unit has broad powers in its mission to bring all businesses operating in Massachusetts into compliance.
