Overview

On November 19, 2025, the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, the MassHire Department of Career Services, and the MassHire State Workforce Board will host the fifth MassHire Awards Celebration. In recognition of ongoing efforts to modernize and upgrade our systems, the theme of the 2025 MassHire Awards is Leaning Into the Future

MassHire continues to bridge gaps for both jobseekers and employers - innovating, collaborating, and leading with purpose. This year’s awards celebrate forward-thinking, future-framing efforts across the system.

There are two public entrances to the Massachusetts State House: the General Hooker Entrance is located on Beacon Street and the Ashburton Park Entrance is located on Bowdoin Street. The Ashburton Park Entrance is the accessible entrance.

Accessibility

The Ashburton Park Entrance on Bowdoin Street is the accessible entrance for the State House. Visitors using The RIDE can use the Capitol Coffee House at 122 Bowdoin Street as the drop off point address. This is across the street from the Ashburton Park entrance. Please notify us in advance if vans or buses are being arranged to drop off large groups of guests with mobility or accessibility needs.

Wheelchairs are available for loan upon request at the Ashburton Park accessible entrance.
